Rocket League-X Games Regional: Team Rogue On Top

The X Games hosted the first of many Rocket League Championship Series tournaments set for the first half of 2021. This tournament had 24 teams from the North American region competing for first place, and a $30,000 prize pool.

Team NRG advanced out of the losers bracket for a rematch against Team Rogue in the finals (they faced each other earlier in the tournament). Coming from the losers side, NRG won the first championship series four games to three. This set up a final best of seven series for the title. Team Rogue would win the title by shutting out Team NRG four games to zero, outscoring their opponents 10-2.

With the victory, Rogue claimed the $30,000 first-place prize, while NRG took home $15,000 for second. Coming in third-place would be Spacestation Gaming. You can take a look at the results and a recap at this link: Reuters RLCS
