The Call of Duty Vanguard gameplay release came out today showing viewers what they can expect from the next COD installment. The large event known as GamesCom took place today where many game studios inform the public on upcoming releases. Big names in the industry of gaming, like Activision, Sony and Xbox are all expected to make announcements during GamesCom. Other names include the likes of Amazon, 313 Industries (Splitgate), Bandai Namco and Ubisoft.

What Activision brought to the first day of GamesCom is phenomenal. Giving a five to ten minute run through of part of Vanguard’s upcoming campaign. This run through gives us a fantastic look at how the Modern Warfare engine works beautifully with a world war two era FPS game. It also displayed several weapon options the game, including the COD classic the M1 Garand. One of the better highlights of the footage release is a new mechanic for Call of Duty. Being able to make new lines of sight through walls and other structures via shooting or using melee.
This mechanic is made popular by a different title altogether, in Rainbow Six Siege. Being able to create lines of sight that aren’t established by the map, will bring a whole new level of gameplay to COD. With the Call of Duty Vanguard gameplay release today, it is safe to say that the hype is real. Let us know what you think about the release on social media: DIG Socials
