24 Hour Trios Tournament

Teams will compete in two of the three following games in a 24 hour kill race tournament; Call of Duty Warzone, Fortnite or Apex Legends. The tournament will begin March 13th at 12:01AM PST and end March 14th at 12:01AM PST. Teams do not have to play for the full 24 hours. They are only required to submit two scores from the two games they choose to play. Example: two scores from COD and two from Apex Legends. Teams are responsible for submitting scores within the timeframe of the tournament.

Scoring: Kills have different point values based on the game. Scoring breakdown is below:

COD Warzone (150 player lobby): 1 kill = 1 point
Fortnite (100 player lobby): 1 kill = 1.25 points
Apex Legends (60 player lobby): 1 kill = 1.75 points
Victory Submissions = 5 additional points

Each submission that includes a victory will give your team five additional points (4 wins = 20 points, 3 wins = 15 points, 2 wins = 10 points, 1 win = 5 points).

Format: Teams will play trio mode only. Please note ranked games will not be taken into consideration.

Results: The team with the best total score at the end of the 24 hour tournament will be the winner and announced on the tournament page. If there is a tie, both teams will be notified. The tiebreaker is the individual with the most kills on any given team. (If there is a tie after that, the team with the most damage in their submitted games will win). No late submissions will be taken into account for scoring. The winning teams may be asked to show proof of their scores to confirm accuracy. Finals scores may take up to 12 hours to verify.

Streaming: All console team; one player is required to stream. PC/PC controller team; one player is required to stream. Confirm “Streaming” when creating your team on the given competition. Please note; anyone who has any suspicion towards them of cheating will be required to stream. It is 100% up to our admins to make a judgement call given the evidence of a cheater. If caught cheating the team will be disqualified and banned from Drop-In Gaming.

Social: Each team should post on social media before the tournament, tagging Drop-In Gaming on any platform. View any of our socials on our Linktree (linktr.ee/Dropingamingllc). Those streaming, put “#Dropingaming” in the title of their stream and turn VOD’s on so we can find your submitted scores on Twitch.
