Cold War Gunfight Single Elimination Bracket Rules (Duos)

This Gunfight bracket will be played on Cold War.

The hosting team must ensure that all the settings are correct. If any setting is incorrect, then the hosting team will risk forfeiting the match.

How To Play: Your team and your opponents will join the same private lobby and play a 2v2. The first team to 6 points will be the winner of that game. In order to move forward in that bracket you must beat your opponents in a best of 3 series in the winner bracket and a best of 3 series in the losers bracket.

Score Submissions: After each match is played in a best of 3 series, players must submit scores. If a player wins 2 matches in the series, the winning player will move on in the bracket.

Dispute: If you dispute the match, you have 5 minutes from when the match ends to upload evidence that your team won. All disputes will be reviewed by our gaming analysts to determine the final outcome.

Bracket: This is a single elimination bracket tournament. This means if you lose a best of 3 series, you will be eliminated from the bracket.

Game Mode: Call of Duty Black Ops Cold War Gunfight 2v2 game mode.

Game Rules: Private match; custom game, select Gunfight. Options should be set at default when creating a match; 40 second timer, 6 wins is a match win, switch sides every 2 rounds, random guns, and team play.

Map options: Any map; hosting team will select a map of their choice. Maps can be played multiple times.

Game Hosting: The tournament will be best of 3. In a best of 3 series team A will host match 1, team B will host match 2. If your best of 3 series is tied 1-1, then you will play a 3rd game to determine a winner. The team with the biggest margin victory will host match. (Example, Team A has a 6-1 win, and Team B has a 6-2 win. Team A will host game 3).

Disconnections: If a player or team is disconnected or lags out during  game play, the game will continue regardless of the score or when a team disconnects. The last individual or team remaining will be deemed the winner of that round. If the individual or team fails to rejoin, then the remaining individual and/or team will be deemed the winner of the match.  A player or team that lags out can rejoin the game with no penalty.

Streaming: We recommend streaming to avoid any cheating allegations. If streaming, confirm “Streaming” when creating your team on the given competition. Players can also post in community chat with their stream info as well.

In-Game Glitches: Any in-game glitch used intentionally by a player to give them an advantage, it is at the admin’s discretion to cancel or replay the match; please play your match to completion as the decision will be made after the fact.
