DIG Update 01/06/21

What’s up gamers!

This year is already starting to fly by, which means we have many exciting things coming your way. First things first though, we are going to talk about the buff, I mean nerf, to the Call of Duty Warzone weapons.

These patch notes were not released with a typical blog post, and instead were released via Raven Software and their Twitter Account:

Call of Duty is definitely known for putting “broken guns” in the game. Including but not limited to:
– DMR 14
– Type 63
– MAC-10
– Diamatti’s
– R9 “Doof Doof”
– AS Val w/ Snapshot Grenade Combo
– Snake Shots
– Bruen MK9
– “Hitscan” SPR Sniper

What are your thoughts on the most recent nerf? Is it still Call of Duty “DMR Zone”? From where we see it, the DMR is essentially the same! 3 headshots as opposed to 2 headshots is not a big change at all. The gun definitely does not feel more balanced and still is the most overpowered gun in the game. The average gamer has a tough time playing in lobbies against players who have high KD’s and are using DMR’s on a regular basis.

Which leads us to announce “Under 1, Have Some Fun!”
Players with a KD of 1.0 or less can come and compete against other players of the same skill level. We will be offering solos, duos, trios and quads tournaments with the 1.0 average KD per player requirement.

Leading up to these tournaments, drop into a match anytime as we offer them on a daily basis. This is a great opportunity for you to test your skills and earn money outside of these weekly tournaments.
